Home Depot — 2015-2017, Ohio

After a difficult divorce, and subsequent business and life implosion, I found myself needing a job, and quick.

A brand new (and at the time, largest in the nation) Home Depot Distribution Center was opening in Luckey, Ohio.

As an active participant in opening a new facility, I was trained on brand-new, state-of-the-art hydrogen powered forklifts. After working the floor for a few months, I was promoted to a logistics coordination position in the office. Here I learned the importance of meeting deadlines, customer service, and teamwork in a fast paced, and often dangerous, environment.
